Although he wasn't the same person who came to our school earlier this year, we had fun watching a "new guy" draw a map of the United States.

This time the learning focus was on the states and capitals. Most of the icons he drew weren't explained, but each was important to that state. To be honest, I didn't even notice that yesterday! That's a smart idea; it must help him keep the proportions correct as he continues drawing on either side. I might have to try drawing a map of the U.S. that way some time (you know I like to draw). :)
